This is a compensated post in collaboration with Paula’s Choice and PIMP. #PaulasChoiceSkincare #PimpLovesPaula
In the last couple of months I have taken extra care of my skin for various reasons. One of them is that I recently moved to a new place and I enjoy spending quality time in the bathroom. Along with also noticing a change in my skin that is very positive.
Needless to say when I was offered the opportunity to test out Paula’s Choice skincare line, I went right ahead. Simply because I have heard nothing but positive things on the brand that I was eager to try it out for myself. Since one of my most viewed post is my skincare routine, I decided it was time for an updated version.
Before getting started I want to give you a background of my skin and it’s needs. I have combination skin and it varies through each season of the year. My T-Zone is oily and during the warmer months I often feel like a disco ball. My cheeks and forehead are what I believe normal. Lastly my chin is normal but it breaks out like crazy! After a 10 minute skin consultation with Paula’s Choice I was able to get the products that fitted my needs best.
Any routine stars with a cleanser, and the Paula’s Choice Clear Pore Normalizing has being a heavens sent. Although the formula of the product took me by surprise I soon learned it didn’t matter. I’m used to cleansers that make foam, and while this one doesn’t it has worked amazing for me. I personally enjoy using it in combination with the FOREO LUNA gadget.
I’m not one to use a toner all the time but for the purpose of this post I tried to use the Paula’s Choice Clear Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution daily.
I completely fell in love with the Paula’s Choice Resist Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum. What I enjoyed the most about this product definitely was how it repaired and gave such a youthful glow. If you want to try anything at all from Paula’s Choice I highly recommend this product the most.
Let’s move on to the night moisturizer I have being using non-stop, the Paula’s Choice Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator. Despite only being 22 years old I have being noticing a fine line growing on the side of my lip from to much laugher I’m guessing. This particular moisturizer in combination with the serum give me such a glow. I can seriously walk out the house with nothing but skincare and feel amazing.
During the day I have being using the Paula’s Choice Hydralight Shine-Free Daily Mineral Complex. Just today as I was at the nail salon the technician asked me what I used on my skin to keep it so clear and glowing. I have to admit I felt flattered and I realized how this line has being working wonders on my skin. There is no better prove than when strangers notice your skin because people never notice healthy skin.
As much as I would enjoy saying I never break out I would be lying to you. So in order to stay as honest as possible I break out around the time of the month. Let me just say that when I break out even if it’s for a week it’s extreme and it says for a few weeks. Getting that out of the way I was thrilled to get my hands on the Paula’s Choice Clear Daily Skin Clearing Treatment.
I have come to the decision that Paula’s Choice has a great selection of skincare items. There is something for everyone most definitely, and I was able to cover my needs using products from three different lines. You can definely find luxury skin care on a budget over at Paula’s Choice. If in the future you would like a follow up post on how the products have worked throughput the months let me know in the comments.
